จัดกิจกรรม อบรมเสริมศักยภาพเจ้าหน้าที่ลาดตระเวนอุทยานแห่งชาติภูเวียง
ด้าน บรรพชีวินวิทยาและธรณีวิทยา
การอบรมมุ่งเน้นความรู้ด้านฟอสซิลและธรณีวิทยาพื้นฐานของหุบเขาภูเวียง การแยกแยะฟอสซิลจากหินและวัตถุอื่น ตลอดจนการสังเกต บันทึกข้อมูล และการแจ้งเบาะแสเมื่อพบแหล่งธรณีหรือแหล่งฟอสซิลใหม่ในระหว่างการลาดตระเวน โดยเน้นความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างธรณี ธรรมชาติ และระบบนิเวศ เพื่อเสริมศักยภาพเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามในการดูแลและคุ้มครองทรัพยากรธรณีอย่างเป็นระบบและยั่งยืน

กิจกรรมนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการดำเนินงานตามแนวทาง UNESCO Global Geoparks เพื่อเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถของเจ้าหน้าที่ลาดตระเวนในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรณีในระยะยาว
7 January 2026Khon Kaen Geopark Association (KKGA), in collaboration with Phu Wiang National Park,
organised a capacity-building training programme for ranger patrol officers of Phu Wiang National Park, focusing on palaeontology and geology.
The training covered fossil knowledge and the basic geology of the Phu Wiang Valley, fossil identification, field observation and documentation, as well as reporting procedures for newly discovered geological or fossil sites during patrols. Emphasis was placed on the interconnection between geology, nature, and ecosystems, enhancing the capacity of field rangers to protect and conserve geoheritage in a systematic and sustainable manner.
