Khon Kaen Geopark is delighted to welcome a study and outdoor workshop group from the Kobfakwang Special Needs Foundation. The group includes special needs individuals (autistic, LD, and intellectually disabled) as well as elderly individuals with dementia. They visited the exhibition and the third excavation site at Phu Wiang National Park.
We were honored to have Dr. Varavudh Suteethorn provide detailed knowledge on dinosaur fossil excavation to the participants. This was part of the Mandala Embroidery Therapy Project, funded by the Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization. The participants learned about dinosaurs and the origins of the Khon Kaen Geopark, using this knowledge as inspiration for their embroidery work.
